Provenance and Composition

Any user can check the Provenance of a product registered on the blockchain.

It will contain details of all the modifications on the product in real time as and when the same are being made and the blocks are added on the blockchain after due endorsement from all the Peers.

The Provenance also shows the timeline of the product being manufactured, purchased and its expiry.

It also shows the history of the product item as the product parameters have been changed on undergoing any process or adding new constituent or changing ownership or new audit comment/certification.

Composition

Along with provenance, we can also check the composition of the product - which products form the constituents of the item and what processes has it undergone. It also keeps a track of the carbon footprint of the product.
